The Gloriette, Cypress Bar, and the Southern Hotel are intertwined to offer a comprehensive hospitality experience. Guests can stay at the Southern Hotel, enjoy a delicious meal at The Gloriette, and then relax with a drink at Cypress Bar, all without leaving the property.

PARKING

Complimentary parking is available for restaurant and bar guests in our designated lot located at the corner of Vermont Street and East Boston Street - no parking pass required.

Guests are also welcome to park in the hotel’s adjacent lots; however, a Southern Hotel parking pass must be obtained to avoid towing. Parking in downtown Covington is limited, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us prioritize access for overnight hotel guests.

The Southern Hotel serves as the central hub and historic foundation. It is a landmark destination that houses both The Gloriette and Cypress Bar. The Gloriette is the hotel's signature restaurant, providing a refined dining experience. It is a key amenity for hotel guests and a culinary destination for the local community and visitors.
